The only zoo in Mumbai since 1861, Mumbai Zoo or Jijamata Udyan Zoo is home to a number of animals, such as blue bull, elephants, deer, hippo, and many more. Also, you can have an encounter with pythons and crocodiles here.
Also known as Rani Baug, Byculla Zoo, or Victoria Garden during the British colonial rule, it is home to diverse flora & fauna with about 853 species of plants and more than 3000 trees, birds, wild animals, and what not.

Designed by a London architect, there is a museum in this zoo and contains several priceless collections of some of the most unique Indian architecture and work of art.
