The temple is situated at a distance of 22 km north of Udaipur and is one of the most famous temples in Rajasthan. The Eklingii Temple is dedicated to the Hindu Lord Shiva and is rendered by many visitors every year by its brilliant architecture. With its pyramidal roof and beautifully carved tower, this dual-story temple looks magnificent. With steps that enter less calm waters, they reach the outside walls of the temple.

Formed in 734 A.D. The ruling idol of Mewar rulers by Bappa Rawal is believed to have been Eklingii. When you enter this hall, you can see a beautiful silver picture of Nandi, and inside there are two other pictures of Nandi. The temple has an exciting aroma and is famous for its striking four-sided Eklingii Idol (Lord Shiva) made of black marble. Its height reaches approximately 50 feet, and its four sides reveal Lord Shiva’s four forms. A major tourist attraction is the Shivlinga, garlanded by a silver snake.
