Birla Temple

A Hindu temple, one of the many temples of Birla in the world, is located in Jaipur. The magnificent Birla Mandir. The sanctuary is situated on Moti Dungari Hill, also known as the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. The temple was founded by Birlas in 1988 when a token of one rupee was given away by Jaipur’s Maharaja.

Built entirely from white marble, the Birla Temple building blends ancient Hindu architecture and modern design. The temple walls are enriched by the intricacies of god and goddess, and the Puranas and Upanishads ‘words of wisdom. The images of historical saints such as Socrates, Christ, Buddha, Confucius, legends, philosopher and spiritual saints are displayed in the temple too.
