The iconic Pink City is located in the heart of the metropolitan area where the beautiful City Palace and the Hawa Mahal are also found.

Jaipur Attractions

The Pink City: Pink City is situated in the middle of Jaipur and surrounded by walls and formidable gates. Although not all pink, several buildings here have a strikingly rosy hue–one designed to conceal the inferior quality components on which they were initially created.
The city palace: The beautiful City Palace stood at the center of Pink City and was built by Jai Singh in the 1720s. The Royal House still owns most of the palace and officially use to the south of the Grand Tripoli Entrance. Less elevated people come into the first of the two significant courtyards, centered on Mubarak Mahal, by a small gate on the eastern part of this building.
Jantar Mantar: The impressive Jantar Mantar, an eighteen full, grassy enclosure with astronomical measurement instruments, is situated in the south of the City Palace. Their unusual, abstract forms offer surreal futuristic sculpture park feelings in the whole place. The Jantar Mantar is among the five similar observatories founded by Jai Singh. His purpose was not astronomical but astrological.
Hawa Mahal: It stands at the east of the City Palace. It was established in 1799 to encourage the court women to observe street proceedings while staying in the purdah. The five-story facade, which is lined by hundreds of fine-drawn windows, creates the building look far more significant than it is actually. In reality, it’s just a little bit larger than what it seems to be.
